Consultations

At JM Dental we know how important it is to listen to your needs. We also recognise that you may need to know us a little better before having a full examination. That’s why we offer either a free discussion with our Care nurse team or a full examination with Dr Moore for those who know they would like us to help them.

  • A Free Consultation with our Care Nurse Treatment Coordinators: sit with a coffee and discuss your needs and see if this is the practice for you. Many clients love seeing testimonials from other people and feel more confident about coming to us for a full examination. Please note that our Care nurses are not able to examine you or give specific treatment advice or costings
 
  • A Full Initial Consultation: Usually taking around an hour. Costing £95, whether you come to us for general dental care or specifically to improve your smile, we start by simply listening to your thoughts and wishes. The examination will probably be the most thorough ( but gentle!) you have ever had including
  • Necessary x rays: usually a full mouth x ray and several more detailed xrays

    • Digital photographs of your teeth and smile and close up intra oral photography
    • Gum Health measurements
    • Accurate moulds of your teeth

John and his team can then discuss the information with you and start formulating a plan to help you. We provide written treatment plans backed up by our photographs and x rays which can email to you or provide on disc for computer viewing later with a partner. Many clients come back with a partner for further discussion at no cost to help formulate a plan and discuss ideas
